PURPOSE:To automatically equalize a counter scale, by recording a tape position information on a magnetic tape when a cassete is taken off from a device, and by presetting the tape position information to the tape position detecting device when the cassete is again loaded to the device. CONSTITUTION:The value of the counter obtained by a tape position detecting circuit 1 when the cassete is unloaded is converted into a signal by a record signal processing circuit 9 through a system control circuit 7. The counter value is recorded on the magnetic tape. Now, after the cassete is taken off from the device and other cassete is played, the aforementioned cassete is again loaded ot the device. Then, the counter value signal recorded on the magnetic tape 12 travels through closed switch contact 10c of a mode switch 10 and permanent open contact 10a to reproduction signal processing circuit 13 and converted into the counter value and taken in to the system control circuit 7, and the counter value is preset at the tape position detection circuit 1, and the value preset is outputted on a displaying device 6. |
