摘要 PURPOSE:To attain rapid and highly accurate operation for normalizing a multiplier to a constant by using a divisor proportional to the dispersed value of the multiplier with a simple constitution by accessing an operated result table on the basis of the sum of a value obtained by compensating the multiplier by the divisor and the divisor. CONSTITUTION:An address 33 for accessing the operated result table 5 and an address 32 for accessing a compensation item table 4 are generated from a division table 3 in accordance with a divisor (p). The table 4 is accessed by the address 32 to compensate a multiplier (x) supplied in accordance with a variable (p), the table 5 is accessed by the sum of address 41 of the compensated multiplier (x) and the address 33 obtained from the table 3 and the operated result obtained by normalizing the multiplier (x) to a constant (a) by using the divisor (p) proportional to the dispersed value of the multiplier (x) is outputted. Thus, the normalizing operation can be executed rapidly and highly accurately with a simple constitution accessing the table 5 of which recording density is proper to the divider (p) and storage capacity is reduced by using the compensated multiplier corresponding to the size of the multiplier (x).
