PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor phase shifter having a phase change range of 360 deg. with a broad band by using a 3dB hybrid coupler and a 3dB hybrid power distirbutor with broad band and wire face coupling line type. CONSTITUTION:After a radio wave from the 2nd input/output terminal 22 is distributed at the 3dB distributor, the wave is propaged through a slot line 37 and modulated by balanced modulators 36, 38 respectively. Then the mode is converted into a tri-plate strip line and the wave is combined in terms of vector with a phase difference of 90 deg. by a broad band wide face coupling line type 3dB hybrid coupler 34. An output with an equal amplitude whose phase is changed continuously for 360 deg. appears at the 1st input/output line 5. Thus, the semiconductor phase shifter with a broad band whose phase change range is 360 deg. is obtained. |
