PURPOSE:To enable a keeping of stable and complete ignited condition to be performed by a method wherein a red heated part arranged at an intermediate upper part of a combustion chamber is made as an L-shape structure having flanges and a plurality of slit-like recesses which are continuous from the upper end of the upright part of the red heated portion to the intermediate part of the flange are arranged. CONSTITUTION:Fuel gasified from a wick 11 is mixed with air in a combustion chamber 15 and ignited with it and a radiation heat is supplied forwardly through a window from a red heat plate 18 which is red heated by the combustion heat. The red heat plate 18 having large diameter air holes 18a closely formed therein has a low thermal capacity to generate a high termal expansion. The red heat plate 18 is provided with recessed grooves 18b which are continuous from the upper end to the lower end of the upright portion, the lateral thermal expansion is almost absorbed with the recessed grooves 18b so as to prevent the upright portion from being deformed. The upper end of the red heat plate 18 is provided with an inverted U-shaped supporter 18c and the red heat plate 18 keeps a flat surface characteristic even in case of performing combustion and so a complete ignited condition can be maintained.
