<p>PURPOSE:To display a value to be observed or measured at a high display sensitivity and to display a digital value inputted as the number of input bits by inputting the number of floating-point displays having variable length exponential parts and displaying the input value. CONSTITUTION:An input 1 of the number of floating point displays having variable length exponential parts is inputted to a conversion means 6 for converting the input 1 into the number of floating point displays having fixed length exponential parts and the means 6 outputs and applies the number 61 of floating points to an operator 7. The numbers corresponding to input values from an input 31 for converting a display mode or the like and an input 32 for specifying an offset value are processed by processing means 310, 320 and their outputs 311, 321 are applied to the operator 7. The operator 7 calculates the number displayed on a display unit 2 on the basis of a formula m(I-DELTA). Provided that the output of the means 6 is I, the output of the means 310 is (m) and the output of the means 320 is DELTA. The output 71 of the operator 7 is applied to limiters 81, 82 and parts exceeding the upper and lower limits of the display are clamped by the specified numbers 4, 5 to display the input digital value by the small number of bits.</p> |
