PURPOSE:To shorten the conference call charge processing time in a conference call system by calculating and accumulating a call charge at the time of changing the number of participants. CONSTITUTION:A charging control circuit 8' obtains a charging unit decided by a distance between a sponsor 1 and participants 51-5n, and starts counting of an elapsed time counter 13. Whenever participants increase or decrease in a meeting, a partial call charge is calculated and accumulated sequentially, and therefore all conference charges can be immediately obtained the moment the conference call is finished.
