PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive vibration-damping material having excellent flexibility at normal temperature, adaptable to the part having complicate shape, and having broad temperature range to exhibit the maximum damping capability, by compounding a filler to an organic binder containing a liquid unsaturated polyester resin and a liquid coumarone resin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of an organic binder obtained by compounding a liquid unsaturated polyester resin with a liquid coumarone resin at a ratio of 99:1-80:20 is compounded with 50-450pts., preferably 70-400pts. of a filler. The composition may be added further with 3-25pts. of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid. The damping effect can be improved by using a flaky filler.
