PURPOSE:To accelerate to the maximum speed and to eliminate the possibility of stepping out by synchronizing with a position signal to accelerate or decelerate a stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:When a track counter 11 completely receives the number of tracks to be moved from a CPU10, a pulse starts moving. The number of tracks required to decelerate from the value of the counter is calculated, and set as ND to a comparator 17. When the head passes over the track 1, one pulse is output from a position indicator 14, the pulse is input to a motor driver 12, the exciting phase is switched to accelerate a stepping motor, and the content of the counter 11 is reduced by one. When the head passes over the track 2, one pulse is further output from the indicator 14. Thus, the head is gradually accelerated. |
