<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an offensive sound emitted in time of an armature being attracted, by installing a platelike elastic member on a surface, excluding at least a surface opposed to an exciting device, of the armature which is opposed to the exciting device and supported shiftably in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A rubber plate 15 as a platelike elastic member is installed on a surface, excluding at least a surface to be opposed to a rotor 6, of an armature 12. When an exciting coil 20 is excited, the armature 12 is magnetically attracted inward against restoring force of plate springs 13 and connected to a rotor 6. At this time, even if a slip occurs between the rotor 6 and the armature 12 in time of the armature being attracted, vibrations due to the slip produced when the armature 12 is attracted to the rotor 6 are absorbed by the rubber plate 15 which elastically deforms itself for the end, so that a high-frequency frictional noise is prevented from occurring.</p> |
