PURPOSE:To accurately control the stopping position of a motor without an overbraking state by abruptly decelerating the motor until the motor is decelerated to the speed immediately before stopping and then relatively slowly decelerating it. CONSTITUTION:When a stop command is given, brake command generating means 1 generates a brake command signal, and a motor energizing circuit is controlled to supply the first brake current to the motor by brake current supplying means 6 at this time. The rotating speed of the motor is abruptly decelerated by the first blanking mode. When the speed of the motor is reduced to the first set speed, braking current switching command generating means 2 produces a braking current switching command output. The ratio of decelerating the speed is smoothed by the second blanking mode. Then, stop command generating means 5 generates a control current supply stop signal after a suitable delaying time is elapsed. Control means 6 stops supplying the braking current by the signal. At this time the motor is not reversely rotated. |
