PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the space and to improve the riding comfort by utilizing an antiroll bar as a surge tank for an air spring. CONSTITUTION:Air springs 1 and 2 are installed between floor frames 6 and 7 of a cab 3 and spring seats 10 and 11 integrally assembled to an anti-roll bar 5 supported between brackets 8 and 9 which are fixed to a chasis frame 4, said anti-roll bar 5 being made from a rigid pipe constituting a sealed air-tight chambers which are used as surge tanks 5a and 5b for air springs 1 and 2 respectively. Comfortable riding in the cab 3 is assured by air springs 1 and 2 while its rolling is suppressed by the anti-roll bar 5. Forming of the surge tanks 5a and 5b in the anti-roll bar 5 eliminates the need for separate installation of such tanks thereby utilizing the space effectively. |
