PURPOSE:To display a folded segment of which respective sides are parallel with the X and Y axes respectively and intersected at the folded point by inputting the start point, end point and folded point by positions indicated by a cursor. CONSTITUTION:The cursor 5 is set up to required start point position and end point position respectively and the start point coordinates (x0,y0) and the end point coordinates (x1,y1) are inputted in a memory 7 by a start point specification switch 4a and an end point specification switch 4b respectively. If the direction is unfixed, the direction is set up in a direction register, and if no folded point exists, the segment connecting (x0,y0) to (x1,y1) is displayed. When the folded point (Cx,Cy) is inputted, the segments connecting (x0,y0) to (cx,cy) and (cx,cy) to (x1,y1) are displayed. When the current folded point coincides with the one to be found out, the operator depresses a folded point specification switch 4c to input the folded point. Thus, a graphic connecting two segments parallel to the X and Y axes respectively at the folded point which may be frequency included in CAD or the like can be easily displayed.
