Fire doors of metal consist of a periphery edge (1-4) of metal that is situated between two metal plates (5 and 6). Between the plates (5 and 6) and within the periphery edge (1-4), there are a number of support walls (7) that are attached at the metal plates (5 and 6). When there is great heat on one side of the door (5), the support walls (7) serve as thermal bridges and transfer heat to the other side of the door (6). The purpose of this invention is to eliminate these thermal bridges. This is achieved by incorporating a through slit (19) under an attachment point (8) in a support wall (7) and situating the edge of the support wall (7) on both sides of an attachment point (8) at a distance from the adjacent metal plate (6).<IMAGE> |
