PURPOSE:To achieve minimizing an apparatus in its size by arranging a cartridge storing mechanism and a parallelly provided taking-out-and-transport mechanism in such a way that the line joining respective central lines of vertical axes of these mechanisms comes to the roughly diagonal direction of the flat surface of an apparatus wrapping cage. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge auto changer consists of a cartridge storing mechanism 20 having a drum-shaped cartridge storing shelf freely rotatable around a vertical axis, and a cartridge taking-out-and-transmitting system 40 having a vertically movable cartridge hand mechanism provided in parallel to said mechanism 20. Both mechanisms 20, 40 are inserted into a wrapping cage 1 as a whole. The wrapping cage 1 has a controlling board 5 on an overhanging panel part 4 formed by extending an upper plate 2 forward with a cartridge in-and-out gate 3 opened. In this case, respective mechanism 20, 40 are arranged in the wrapping cage 1 so that the line joining respective control lines of vertical axes is set in the roughly diagonal direction of the cage 1 on a flat surface of the cage 1, an the apparatus is achieved to minimize its size by this arrangement. |
