PURPOSE:To attain registration without making a demmand terminal number at a host device and a relay metering device different from each other by providing a write control means for receiving the demmand terminal number from the host device to apply write control to a registration section in the relay metering device. CONSTITUTION:The relay metering device 10 is provided with an operating section 20 inputting and operating a meter number and a room number wire control section 21 applying write control to a room number registration section 22 to transmit a meter number from the host device 3 to attain meter number registration to the relay metering device 10 and the meter number registration is attained easily at an installing position of the device 10. Thus, in applying metering number registration to the host device 3 once, the meter number registration on the device 10 is attained easily and surely. Since the meter number registered on the relay metering device 10 is returned to the host device 3 further, the meter number of the device 10 and that of the device 3 are not different. Moreover, mis-registration due to transmission mistake is prevented.
