PURPOSE:To control the fixation temperature more precisely by providing a temperature control means which varies the temperature of a heat fixing device on the basis of automatic input information among copy setting conditions. CONSTITUTION:The temperature control means which varies the temperature of the heat fixing device on the basis of at least one of pieces of automatic input information among the copy setting conditions, specially, original density, original size, automatic magnification variation, and the color of a developer. Namely, data detected by an original density detection EE device 25 is A/D- converted and then inputted to a CPU. When original size and magnification are varied, data detected by an original size detection APS device 26 and a copy paper size detection device 27 are converted into preset digital signals, which are inputted to the CPU. Further, when a developing device s replaced to change the developer from, for example, black toner to magenta toner, its color tone is detected by a toner sensor 28 having characteristic light absorption characteristics and converted into a digital signal,which is inputted to the CPU. Then, arithmetic processing is performed to control the temperature. |
