PURPOSE:To exactly wind up and separate webs by providing a regulator to regulate the amount of winding web around a web guide between the web guide and a winding core to wind up the web being separated. CONSTITUTION:A support shaft 39 is attached through a bracket 38 to a frame 37, and a pinch roller (regulator) 22 is rotatably supported on the shaft 39. A thermal transfer ribbon 15 is pushed down between the third ribbon guide 21 and a winding core 17 to regulate the amount of winding the ribbon 15 on the guide 21. The strength and direction of widthwise tension can thus be equalized, and the occurrence of wrinkle is suppressed. The ribbon 15 can thus be normally made and can also be forcibly separated from a platen roller 7. |
