PURPOSE:To realize partial coating of flux and to improve soldering characteristics, by forming plural foaming chambers in a flux tank and providing a foaming nozzle and foaming body in each foaming chamber. CONSTITUTION:Partition plates 2 are provided in a flux tank 1 in the longitudinal direction and foaming chambers 6, 7, and 8 which respectively contain plural kinds of fluxes 3, 4 and 5 are formed. Forming nozzles 11, 12, and 13 are provided in the foaming chambers 6, 7, and 8 and foaming bodies 14, 15, and 16 are installed to the bottom sections of the nozzles 11, 12, and 13, respectively. The foaming nozzles 11, 12, and 13 are connected to an air pressure source. When the surface to be soldered of a printed circuit board 17 is introduced onto the flux tank 1, required flux of the flux 3, 4, and 5 is coated on the flux of a relevant foaming body through a limit switch and solenoid valve. Since partial application of flux is realized when such a method is applied, the soldering characteristics are improved.
