A plastic sack, the top open part of which is designed to be hung over a suspension ring for suspending the sack, and which at its top open part has a number of folds 1, 2, 3 and 4. In the said folds 1, 2, 3 and 4, the layers of plastic superimposed on one another by folding are joined together by means of a weld 1a, 2a, 3a and 4a, which reduces the diameter of the top open part of the sack. From the top edge of the sack descending slits or openings 1b, 2b, 3b and 4b are formed on both sides of each weld 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a up to this. <IMAGE>
