PURPOSE:To set up plural messages and to enable either one to transmit after selecting them by providing a response device to generate a response signal according as a calling signal detection circuit and its output and furthermore by allowing a composite language message signal to memory in advance and to output according as the response signal. CONSTITUTION:The calling signal detection circuit 8 detects a calling signal transmitted from a telephone circuit 6 and adds its calling signal to response device 10 by outputting it. The response device 10 permits it to generate response device by operating in accordance with a calling signal detection output coming from the calling signal detection circuit 8 and not only adds its response signal to a speech message device 12 but also when a message is sent, shuts a hook switch 24 compulsorily and produces a control signal to open the hook switch 24 compulsorily when a transmission of message has completed and furthermore it consists of a switching circuit to add the composite data coming from the speech message device 12 to a speech circuit 20. Besides it, CPU28 of speech message device 12 forms the composite language message on a basis of input signal coming from the response device 10.
