PURPOSE:To enable the titled system to generate TV signal with high resolution at a present broadcast equipments by compressing the regular band of a luminous signal to 1/2, forming 1 frame by 4 fields, and inserting or not inserting an equalizing pulse every 2 field periods. CONSTITUTION:A luminous signal ya is sampled and held by a sampling pulse fsy of frequency 512 fH in a sample and hold circuit 1, and a luminous signal ya' outputted through a filter 4 is folded at 256fH. And a color difference signal is the same,too. (B-Y)a, (R-Y)a are outputted as color degree signals. Insertion or non-insertion of the equalizing pulse is repeated very two field periods because one frame is composed of four fields. It is the addition of the equalizing pulse E discriminates 4n fields and 4n+1 fields, non-application of the equalized pulse discriminates 4n+2 and 4n+3 field, odd and even inclusively. Thus, an image of high resolution can be obtained by the use of a present broadcast equipment.
