A plastics clip (1) for holding a sheet (2) on a support (3) to which a stud (4) is welded has a hinged arm (14) which initially projects in the same direction as the stud, but after assembly of the sheet can be folded over the sheet to hold it. The arm (14) is hinged on a finger bracket (13) at one side of a shank of the clip, which includes a pawl (26), displaced from the axis of the clip at the opposite side, to engage a shoulder (27) in a recess of the arm (14) and hold it in its folded over position. The clip (1) can be readily assembled onto the stud (4) and the arm (14) folded over after superimposing the sheet (2). These operations can readily be performed automatically. <IMAGE> |
