PURPOSE:To obtain a system not requiring insertion of an added bit, removal and frame synchronization by using other transmission line to transmit an error correction coded signal. CONSTITUTION:The 1st error correction coding circuit 301 applies coding for error correction of simultaneous n lines at each time slot to a n-line synchronous digital signal 11 at the transmission side, n sets of coded signals 12 are generated and transmitted as n set of signals 12. The synchronous digital signal 11 and the coded signal 12 are transmitted through separate transmission lines. On the other hand, the 2nd error correction coding circuit 303 of the same circuit constitution as the 1st error correction coding circuit 301 at the transmission side generates n lines of coding signals 13 at the reception side by using a synchronous digital signal 11' including an error. The n line of coded signals 13 and the n lines of coded signals 12' transmitted through other transmission line are compared at each line by a comparator circuit 302 to generate a code error signal 14 generated by the transmission line. The code error signal 14 consists of n lines. |
