PURPOSE:To aim at reduction of access time by forming a moving mechanism of a cartridge grasping means in a multi-columned moving body mechanism, and having said moving body positioned at the farthest edge to hold a grasping means, in the case of a cartridge taking-out-and-transport mechanism provided in parallel to a vertical cartridge storing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge auto changer is provided with a cartridge taking-out- and-transport mechanism 40 having a vertically movable cartridge hand system 78 in parallel to a cartridge storing mechanism 20 having a drum-shaped cartridge storing shelf 21. In this case, the taking-out-and-transport mechanism 40 is composed of the first carriage 53 to go up and down along a pair of vertical rail members 49 standing on a base disc 41 revolved by a normally and reversely rotating motor M2, and the second carriage 66 making sliding movement along another pair of rail members 65 mounted on a rising-and-falling plate 64 making turning movement around a horizontal axis 61 on the carriage 53. And, a cartridge hand mechanism 78 is provided at the edge of the second carriage 66. |
