PURPOSE:To execute efficiently an unmanned running by leaving a tool in a work so as to carry out an original position returning action when an abnormality occurs during machining. CONSTITUTION:When an abnormality detecting means A detects the machining abnormality, an original position returning means B acts responding the detection, and returns a spindle head 12 to its original position after a tool clamp mechanism C is brought into the unclamped state. Thus the original position returning action can be done under the condition where the tool T can separate from a main spindle 17, and the original position returning can be executed even if the tool T is engaged with the work. |
