PURPOSE:To enable possible hull oscillation to be restrained and also enable the ship layout to be easily designed by allowing the form of the water plane of a main hull for a high speed boat, which has a submerged torpedo type body at the ship's bottom of the bow, to be a narrow isosceles triangle with the vertex at the tip end of the bow, and with the base line at the end of its stern, so as to permit the center of buoyancy to coincide with the center of gravity. CONSTITUTION:The form of the water plane of a main hull 2 for a high speed boat, which has a submerged torpedo type body at the ship' bottom of the bow by way of a strut 3, is allowed to be a narrow isosceles triangle with the vertex at the tip end of the bow, and with the base line at the end of its stern. This allows the ship layout to be easily designed in such a manner that the center of buoyancy of an entire hull may coincide with the center of gravity, and simultaneously enables possible hull oscillation at a high speed cruising to be restrained.
