The invention relates to a pair of sanitary periodic pants for animals, in particular for bitches, of the type consisting of a strip of absorbent material, resistant to tearing and made impermeable, the said strip comprising elastic fastening connections, fastening around the abdomen of the animal and fixing onto the opposite end of the strip which is provided with an opening for passage of the tail of the animal. These shorts are characterised in that the fastening connections are formed of straps which are wholly or partially elastic, provided at each of their ends with perforations which are superposed after the said straps are fastened around the waist of the animal, a single connection hook ensuring their coupling with the slit end of the impermeable strip which comprises an appropriate perforation. <IMAGE>
