PURPOSE:To enable to embark and disembark safely, by installing the end of a platform rotatably at the lower end of the opening of the boardside above the draft, fixing a float under the other end of the platform, and making the movement of the platform follow the up and down movement of a boat owing to the waves. CONSTITUTION:An opening 6 is formed, as an embarking and disembarking area, at the boardside above the draft of a vessel 1. At the bottom edge of the opening where is a watertight door 9, is installed the end of a platform 5 rotatably, at whose other end a float 7 is fixed. A handrail 8 is formed at the upper side of the platform 5. In such a system, with the up and down movement of a tenderboat 4 owing to the movement of the waves, the end of the platform 5 moves in the same manner through the float 7. Therefore, no difference in level occurs and a safe embarking and disembarking can be performed.
