The invention relates to a vessel for the culture of microorganisms. This culture vessel consists of a cylindrical container 1 and a cover 2 and a base 3, both containing at least three passages 4, it being necessary for the cover 2 and also, where appropriate, the base 3 to be opened and closed under sterile conditions, and a sieve plate 5 which is placed in the lower half of the vessel 1, all the elements being made from a sterilisable material.
