PURPOSE:To improve the data transfer processing efficiency by deleting a phenomenon where a conflict is produced among plural computers for allocation of communication areas within a control area and at the same time decreasing the waiting phenomena for those communication areas. CONSTITUTION:A descending mailbox 1 is controlled by a control table 3 set on a host computer 10, and an idle channel mailbox of the box 1 is used for transfer of control information to a communication control processing computer 20 from the computer 10. The computer 20 uses a control table 5 to give the release information on the channel mailboxes to the computer 10 at a time point when the prescribed processing is through based on the control information transferred onto the channel mailbox. The control of the relevant channel mailbox is sent back to the table 3. While the channel mailboxes forming an ascending mailbox 2 are controlled by a control table 4 set on the computer 20. then an idle channel mailbox of the box 2 is used for transfer of control information to the computer 10 from the computer 20. |
