PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in a feeling of driving comfortableness, by converting a rock of a wheel supporting arm into rotational displacement in a regulating member, while constituting generating damping force out of a damping force generator so as to be regulated with this rotational displacement. CONSTITUTION:When a rear fork 3 rocks upward due to upward load acting on a rear wheel, a contractile damping force generator of a buffer 8 generates its damping force. A upward rock in this rear fork 3 varies an axial angle between the rear fork 3 and the buffer 8, therefore a link 24 makes a link 22 rotate upward, rotating a regulating member 18 turn round clockwise. With this rotation, upward load against the rear wheel is eliminated, and the rear fork 3 rocks downward due to resilient force of a suspension spring 15. With this motion, an expansion damping force generator (unillustrated herein) operates this time and the regulating member 18 reversely rotates, thus rocking energy in the rear fork 3 is absorbed. With this constitution, a buffering effect is brought into full play without entailing a large shock, thus a feeling of driving comfortableness is improvable. |
