The invention relates to a digital/analogue converter operating by redistribution of loads in weighted capacitances. To improve the accuracy of the converter even though the accuracy of the values of the capacitances is limited for technical reasons, provision is made for a circuit for calibrating the high significance capacitances (C8 to C11) using auxiliary capacitances (C'8 to C'11 respectively), auxiliary digital/analogue converters (CNAX8 to CNAX11) and a circuit for searching for equilibrium by successive approximations (comparator COMP and register RAS); the auxiliary capacitances, of low value, are charged with analogue voltages determined by successive approximation, which voltages compensate the errors in the values of the corresponding main capacitances C8 to C11.
