Apparatus which makes it possible to measure the pulling power of the arms and the pushing power of the legs in the water. The invention relates to an apparatus which makes it possible to monitor and to measure the propulsive force of swimming movements in the water and their regularity, taking legs and arms separately. The apparatus is composed of several elements: a frame fitted with pulleys, a rope to match it to the counter weights and a pair of trunks. The apparatus functions in the following manner: when he is on the pool edge, the swimmer puts on the trunks to which the rope is fixed which passes over the pulleys connected to the measuring device. It is thus possible to work with every stroke, taking the arms and legs separately (power investigation).
