PURPOSE:To make it feasible to adjust the mold thickness easily without deteriorating the rigidity of mold closing link holding block by a method wherein a holding side end of toggle ring generating mold closing force is coupled with a mold closing link holding block through the intermediary of an eccentric axle or eccentric bearing while the mold thickness is adjusted by means of changing the angle of eccentric axle or eccentric bearing. CONSTITUTION:The base of metallic mold 4 is coupled with a mold closing link 10 through the intermediary of a sliding arm 5 while the mold closing link 10 is coupled with another mold closing link 11 and a connecting rod 9 to compose a so-called toggle link. An adjusting axle 13 is composed of an adjusting axle main body 13a, an eccentric axle 13b and a gear part 13c while a screw part 15 engaged with the gear part 13c is rotated by rotating a mold thickness adjusting handle 14 so that the relative positions of a mold closing link holding block 12 and the eccentric axle 13b as well as the fixed position of the mold closing link 11 may be changed to change the mold thickness. |
