<p>PURPOSE:To perform secure electronic control by providing a temperature sensing element composed of a resistance element which varies in resistance value with temperature in an air flow, cutting off the air flow when its temperature rises up to specific temperature, and obtaining an air flow rate measurement signal in the form of the time width of a heat current. CONSTITUTION:The temperature sensing element 12 which has temperature resistance characteristics and consists of a resistance heating wire is set in an air suction pipe 11 to set a radiation control state by the air flow in the pipe 1; and the temperature sensing element 12 and an auxiliary temperature sensing element 13 are connected in series with resistance elements 14 and 15 so that one terminal is connected to a power source and the other terminal is grounded. When the temperature of the temperature sensing element 12 rises up to the specific temperature, a comparator 18 outputs a reset command signal to a flip-flop circuit 19. Thus, a pulse signal after the time width corresponding to the setting and presetting operation of the circuit 19 is obtained, so this time width is used as air flow rate measurement information. Consequently, high-precision engine control is performed.</p> |
