INSPECTION OF DIABETES USING PANCREATIC ISLET CELL

PURPOSE:To make possible the simple and quick discovery of diabetes by bringing serum or the IgG fraction of the serum into reaction with the pancreatic islet cells for detecting the pancreatic islet membrane antibody then bringing the same into reaction with peroxidase labeled human IgG serum. CONSTITUTION:The serum subjected to an acetone untreatment or the IgG fraction of the serum subjected to another treatment is brought into reaction with the pancreatic islet cells for detecting the pancreatic islet membrane antibody on cover glass 1. The cells are then brought into reaction with the peroxidase labeled antihuman IgG serum and is further subjected to coloration reaction. The coloration thereof is observed with a microscope. The inspection of the diabetes is thus made possible.
