To increase safety for everyone on the road, motor vehicles are equipped with inside mirrors which can be bent on both sides and are vertically adjustable. As a result of this, the "blind angle" is avoided. The mirror comprises a base part and two lateral bodies which can be bent in a variable manner. The individual elements are articulately connected to one another. The mirror is vertically adjustable, as the holding element comprises two individual elements which can be pushed into one another.
