The invention relates to a device for cooling and/or cutting sheetlike baked articles, such as fruit flans, crumbles etc. A device of this kind is known via DE-GM 8419620. In order to avoid rotation of the device through 180 DEG which is necessary during cutting when the said known device is used, it is proposed according to the invention that the device have a multiplicity of platelike longitudinal (2) and transverse (3) rods which stand on their edges and are arranged at a distance from one another and so as to cross one another at right angles, rectangular frames (6) being provided in the spaces (5) formed by adjacent longitudinal (2) and transverse (3) rods, the said frames (6) having a cross section, their shapes being adapted to the shapes of the said spaces (5) and their upper end faces projecting over those of the longitudinal (2) and transverse (3) rods. <IMAGE>
