Metallocene derivatives for cerebral and pulmonary diagnosis

Metallocene amine derivatives, their alkyl derivatives and their salts are excellent radiodiagnostics, for example for cerebral or pulmonary diagnosis. The most important parent substance is 1-ruthenocenyl-2-aminopropane or the homologous butane compound. The alkyl derivatives of these compounds, in particular the N,N-dimethyl derivatives and N-isopropyl derivatives, show a high concentration in the brain.
