PURPOSE:To efficiently convert tightening torque of a tightening ring into the force serving as clamping force of a shaft, by forming a thread on a connection cylindrical part, fitted to the tightening ring, into a buttresss thread shape. CONSTITUTION:A male coupling 1 provides in its both ends a connection cylindrical part 11, 11 internally fitting the end part of two shafts A, A to be connected, and the connection cylindrical part provides in its periphery a taper thread 3, 3 to be cut. Further, a thread fitting part between the connection cylindrical part 11 and a tightening ring 2 is formed to a buttress thread. By this constitution, tightening torque applied to the tightening ring 2 can be efficiently converted as clamping force of the shaft A. |
