PURPOSE:To accurately set a sampling cycle, by providing a position standard comprising a groove or projection to the torque detection part to an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Because a groove 20 or projection is provided to the outer peripheral surface of the detection part of an output shaft 2, magnetic flux density largely changes when the groove 20 or projection is faced to a detector 9 and pulse output P is formed so as to exceed a preliminarily imparted threshold level S. The reference position of the output shaft 2 is cleared by this pulse output P and, therefore, for example, a sampling cycle corresponding to one cycle can be set on the basis of said pulse output and an average value MT can be obtained from plural sample values taken in the sampling cycle. Further, the number of rotations can be also detected from the formed pulse output P. |
