PURPOSE:To enable take-out of even silage at the corner of a square tower silo, by a method wherein the chain conveyor with claws of a silage take-up device is moved along the inner wall surface of a silo, and the silage is scraped to the central part and is discharged with the aid of a blower. CONSTITUTION:A silage take-out device (unloader) 1 is vertically movably located to the upper surface position of silage S contained in a silo 2. A chain conveyor 17 with claws, which is extended radially from about the central position of the plane surface of the silo 2 and is rotated as it is horizontally rotated and carries the silage S toward a rotation center as it scratches, and a blower chute 13 which discharges the silage S, carried by the chain conveyor 17, to the outside of the silo, are provided. The conveyor 17 has its forward end normally moved along the inner wall surface of the silo 2, and causes claws 24 for silage carriage to stand upright in a range of to a central position from the inner wall surface of the silo and be kept in a carrying state and be kept in a non-carrying state in a portion ranging across the central position of the silo. |
