PURPOSE:To enable opening and closing whether there is a sheet of original paper on a tray or not and make a device compact providing said containing tray having a recess form on the top surface of said device, and restraining and holding discharged sheets of original paper by means of an elastic-sheet type stopper guide to which a stopper weight is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of original paper which is discharged on an original paper containing tray 7, is discharged along a stopper guide 9, stopped and held on the lower side of a stopper weight 10 due to the pressure of the weight 10 and, after that, the original paper is taken out from an opening part on the front side when certain number of sheets are collected. When an automatic original-paper feeding device 2 is opened with the sheets of original paper being kept collected in the tray 7, the sheets of original paper are not scattered out of the original-paper containing tray 7 since they are restrained by the stopper guide 9 and the stopper weight 10, and held by a cover tray 8. Accordingly, the form of the device in the vertical direction is made compact facilitating packing, while enabling opening/closing operation whether there is a sheet of original paper on the containing tray or not, improving operating quality. |
