PURPOSE:To make an element light and flexible, by bonding an N type macromolecular semiconductor comprising polyacetylene and a P type macromolecular semiconductor comprising one or both of a polypyrrole compound and/or polythienylene compound. CONSTITUTION:An N type macromolecular semiconductor and a P type macromolecular semiconductor form a pair and a photoelectric conversion element having P type and N type heterojunctions is formed. As a macromolecular compound constituting the N type macromolecular semiconduc tor, polyacetylene is used. As a macromolecular compound constituting P type macromolecular semiconductor, one or both of a polypyrrole compound and/or polythienylene compound are used. As the polypyrrole compounds, there are polypyrrole, poly-N-methyl pyrrole, poly-N-ethyl pyrrole and the like. One or more kinds are used. As the polythienylene compounds, there are polythienylene, poly-3-methyl thienylene, poly-3,4-dimethyl thienylene and the like. One or more kinds are used. Thus an element characterized by excellent flexibility, light weight, easy handling and a large area can be formed. |
