PURPOSE:To accurately calculate the measure the wt. of the specific componential gas in all exhaust gas, by calculating the wt. of the specific componential gas from the concn. and density thereof in such a state that the flow amount of sample exhaust gas is made constant and detecting the suction flow amount of an engine. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas measuring apparatus 1 is attached to an engine 2 and the flow amount and temp. of air sucked from the port of an air cleaner are detected by an air flow sensor 13 and a temp. sensor 14. The exhaust gas passing through an exhaust pipe 3 is sampled in a constant flow amount by a pump 5 through a venturi 6 and the concn. of the specific componential gas in the exhaust gas is detected by an analysis part 9. The exhaust wt. per a unit time of the specific componential gas in all exhaust gas is calculated on the basis of the pressure and temp. of the exhaust, concn. signals (a), (b), (c), the flow amount of sucked air and temp. signals (d), (e) by an operation apparatus 15. |
