PURPOSE:To prevent reverse curling due to overcured curling by properly using curling-curing rollers of different diameters depending on the degree of curling in a curling tendency curing device for a roll of paper, etc. CONSTITUTION:When curling tendency is low, a roll of paper 1 which is fed from an inlet side feed roller 2, undergoes curing for curling by a larger- diameter curing roller 5A, and then, is discharged through a conveying passage 7A. When the curing tendency is high, a solenoid 9 which is interlocked with a detector for the amount of curling, operates causing a changeover leaf spring 13 to rotate counterclockwise centering around a fulcrum 11. due to this changeover, the roll of paper 1 which is originally being curled in the downward direction, will advance straight and undergoes curing for curling by means of a small-diameter roller 5B, and then, is discharged through a conveying passage 7B. |
