A front edging member 1 for mounting between arms 10 extending from storage rack uprights, e.g. for suporting shelves, baskets, price tags, shelf partitions, &c., comprises a plate formed by bending into a tube, the plate having a row of flaps 2 at one edge which are secured e.g. by welding, to the plate face along the opposite edge portion to form narrow rectangular openings 3 between the flaps 2. The openings 3 may receive the ends 5 of brackets 4 for retaining price tags &c. or may receive the end 8 of a guide 6 for supporting a partition 7 on a shelf 9 resting on the edging 1. Then ends of the edging 1 may be formed with flaps 14, 15 which engage in slots 12, 13 formed in flaps 11 on the arms 10. In an alternative arrangement (Fig. 3, not shown) the flaps are bent downwardly. In a further arrangment (Fig. 4, not shown) the flaps are formed by slitting the plate 1 transversly from one edge and bending the plate portions between the slits alternatively to one side and to the other. |
