In this pipe connection for plastic pipes, made of plastics that do not shrink, preferably such as polybutene, a sleeve body (3) is provided which has an internal conically formed flank (3a, 3b) opposite the pipe end (1, 2), which flank corresponds to that of the pipe end (1a, 2a). The connection is manufactured by the influence of heat on the connection point. For example, by means of a heating element (4) embedded in the sleeve body, by means of which a homogeneous connection is produced between the sleeve body (3) and the pipe ends (1) and (2). To manufacture the connection the sleeve body is manufactured with a specific coning angle on the inside, and likewise the pipe end to be inserted is provided with a corresponding coning angle and is inserted into the sleeve body (3) until there is no longer any space between the two and a force fit is produced; the heat source is then switched on for a specific time. In this way, the inner wall zones of the sleeve and the outer wall zones of the pipe end are melted, and the material of the sleeve body (3) and the pipe ends (1) and (2) form an internal, homogeneous connection. <IMAGE> |
