PURPOSE:To reduce the noise and to increase the life by controlling to decelerate a traveling carrier by brake means for braking the operation in a DC magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A decelerating unit 13 which has a core 14 and a DC coil 15 is mounted between the primary cores. The core 14 has a gap (g) of the degree that the secondary conductor 4 provided in the carrier 1 can pass without contact, and when the conductor 4 passes a DC magnetic field in the gap (g) generated by the DC current flowed to the coil 15, a DC brake is engaged to decelerate the carrier 1. The DC brake becomes more effective if gap (g) of the decelerator 13 is formed as narrow as possible. The DC magnetic field generated by magnetizing the core 14 is regulated to have a brake force of the degree not damaging even if the carriers 1 collide by decelerating the carrier 1. |
