CUTTING STATE MONITORING APPARATUS OF PIPE EMBEDDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To attain to miniaturize the titled apparatus and to make it possible to easily grasp a cutting state, by operating the shift amount to an embedding sheduled line and the inclination of a cutting machine from the position detection signal and cutting amount detection signal of the cutting machine to simultane ously display both values. CONSTITUTION:A position detection apparatus 8 for detecting the position x, y of a cutting machine and a cutting amount detection apparatus 23 for detecting the cutting amount (z) of the cutting machine are provided and the respective outputs of both apparatuses are inputted to an operation part 25 through an A/D converter 24. In this operation part 25, not only the present positional shift amount to an embedding sheduled line is operated but also the shift amount in a horizontal direction and that in a vertical direction be tween the present position and the position previous by a predetermined distance are operated. The output of the operation part 25 is displayed on a display part 26 as the positional shift amount and the inclination of the cutting machine to the embedding sheduled line. By this method, because the posture detection part of the cutting machine is dispensed with, the apparatus can be miniaturized.
